Compassionate support for healing, connection, self-trust, and lasting growth.

Core Specialties

  • Grief & Loss: Navigating the emotional complexity of loss, including preparing for the death of a loved one, I’ll be with you as an expert companion and guide you through a healthy grieving process.
  • Pet Loss: Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking.
  • Relationships, Intimacy, Self-Esteem, Identity & Trust: Strengthen your connections with others by cultivating a kinder, friendlier relationship with yourself. Research shows that strong social support is the greatest predictor of happiness according to theHarvard Study of Adult Development — one of the longest-running studies on happiness.
  • Self-Compassion: Replace self-criticism with kindness. We'll work on shifting from harsh self-judgment to nurturing self-support.
  • Emotional Intelligence and Self-Regulation: Working with intense emotions is hard for all of us. Learning to be more self-supporting and less reactive will benefit you in in your business and personal life. It may seem counter-intuitive, but caring more about your own feelings and needs can lead to much better relationships.
  • Mindfulness & Mind-Body Connection: Just as your mind influences your body, your bodily state can affect your mental health. For example, regular physical exercise isn’t just good for your muscles and heart—it’s also shown to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. A healthy mind-body connection allows you to relax and reduces the production of stress hormones like cortisol. Research indicates chronic increased levels of stress can have serious effects on your health – including contributing to cardiovascular disease and gastrointestinal complications.
  • Values Clarification: Consider whether your values and goals are genuinely yours or unexamined external messages from family or your culture. Let’s see if there’s a way to better align your daily life with what really matters to you.
  • Perfectionism: Address the roots of self-criticism and unrealistic expectations. Learn to manage stress, procrastination, and unfavorable comparison with others.
  • Addressing insecurities and experiences you haven’t been able to process on your own
  • Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG): As I learned from The Cancer Support Community clients, there’s always good that comes out of the bad. A positive psychological transformation can happen after trauma. PTG demonstrates that when we reflect on our lives and make sense of the destruction caused by trauma, our struggles can become a catalyst for change. Trauma can be the path to a new beginning.

A professionally composed photograph showing a somber interaction between two people. An elderly man with white hair is seated on a beige sofa, looking downcast and wiping a tear from his eye with a white tissue. Opposite him, a woman with short blonde hair and glasses, wearing a patterned blazer, leans forward with a supportive hand on his shoulder. The foreground features a coffee table with a glass of water, an hourglass, and a tissue box, all slightly out of focus. The mood is empathetic and serious, suggesting a therapy session or a moment of grief support. The lighting is soft and natural, and the color palette consists of neutral, muted tones like gray, beige, and soft blue.
